What is term life insurance?

• With term life insurance, there are no smoke and mirrors or confusing financial mumbo jumbo. It’s simply a life insurance policy that provides a payout if you die while the policy is active.

PRACTICAL ADVICE
How much do I need?

• You’ll want to take out a life insurance policy that's 10-12 times your annual income.

  You most likely only need it if you have kids; and people who really depend on your income to survive. Of course, this is something that should be handled on an individual basis, so I’m not just going to create some rule for you to follow just because it works for me.
