have the best weekend for $15
Good morning!
Big win: Ashlea (my wifey) got an iPhone 14 this week, and I had to perform a screen protectonomy to make sure the tempered glass fit perfectly on her new phone… with NO BUBBLES. Success!
In honor of random but underrated skills, here are a couple: 1) placing a screen protector with no bubbles. 2) compactly rolling a sleeping bag to fit into its casing 3) the ability to fold fitted sheets.

DEFINITION
Budget
Are you sure we’re aligned with what “a budget” means?
A budget is NOT a record of how much you spend. A budget is way more than that, and way more helpful.
A budget is an intentional spending plan. You make it once a month, BEFORE the month begins (for example, we should be making our March budget in the next few days). You write write down how much money you plan on making this month (income), and then you plan out exactly where that income is going to go (expenses). This could include $900 towards savings, $1,100 towards rent, $30 to subscriptions, and $60 to eating out.
Now EVERY DOLLAR you make is given an assignment. With a budget, you’ll be taking control of your money, instead of your money taking control of you.
PRACTICAL ADVICE
The most underrated, budget friendly plans
This weekend, Ashlea and I invited a few friends to go camping!
$15 for the campsite (1 night). We brought our gear, fishing poles, and other sports equipment for activities. We also assigned each other certain items to bring for food. We had bomb tinfoil dinners, and a breakfast that includes the following: BACON.
Great time, great memories, and it’s by far my favorite way to connect with friends and nature.
